The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) is gradually undergoing significant transformative reforms that align with the best global administrative practices under the stewardship of its highly creative and down-to-earth chairman, Professor Abdullahi Usman Pakistan.

These changes aim to improve efficiency, efficacy, and transparency in the commission’s activities for optimal performance.

This development is expected to usher in a new era of hope and enthusiasm in the history of Hajj management in Nigeria according to Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, chairman of NAHCON.

Pakistan expressed his commitment to elevating the commission’s performance through digitization and the continuous training of its workforce.

He made this disclosure while answering questions on the Hausa Hajj program “Hajji Kiran Allah,” produced by NAHCON.

One key benefit of digitization, according to Professor Saleh Pakistan, is that pilgrims will be provided with a wristband device while in the holy land.

“This device will make it easier to locate lost pilgrims, even if they cannot speak Arabic, amidst the constant and significant infrastructural developments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” he said.

Another important benefit, as highlighted by Professor Abdullahi Pakistan, is the easy preservation, accessibility, and retrieval of information about the commission’s activities from anywhere in the world.

This remarkable foresight by the current leadership of the National Hajj Commission, under Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman Pakistan, marks a significant milestone in the commission’s history.
