Some Northern Grassroot politicians have thrown their weight behind the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Nelson Wike’s national assignment in 2027.
Sani Ibrahim Mainasara, who spoke on behalf of other members of the group, said they came together collectively as one body to see that Wike succeeds in putting an end to Nigeria’s poverty.
According to him, “Nigeria’s situation is in need of salvation. Food prices have increased, kidnapping cases, poverty everywhere. These are reasons why we need Wike to come to our help.
“We have gathered here as representatives from the three political zones to discuss the ambition of the present honourable minister of FCT, Dr. Nelson Wike who will be out for national assignment in 2027.”
He called on all stakeholders to join hands with them to see that this ambition becomes a reality for the good of the country and its citizens.
