NULGE Commends Soba LG Chairman for Timely Payment of 2023 Annual Leave

The Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Soba Chapter has commended the Soba Local Government Chairman, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, for his proactive and prompt payment of the 2023 Annual Leave Grant to its members.

In a letter signed by the NULGE Soba Chairman, AbdulMalik Aliyu Shehu, the union expressed its immense gratitude for the payment of the grant, especially considering the current economic climate.

“I am writing on behalf of Soba Local Government Staff to express our sincere appreciation for the payment of the 25% 2023 Annual Leave Grant, which was received today.

“We are grateful for the prompt and efficient processing of the leave entitlement, and we appreciate the efforts of the Council Chairman, under the leadership of Hon. Muhammad Lawal Shehu, for making this possible,” the NULGE Chairman said.

The union further stated that the leave grant came at a much-needed time, and they are thankful for the opportunity to recharge and spend quality time with their loved ones.

He emphasized that the recognition of the staff’s hard work and dedication to the local government is truly valued.

The union also noted that Muhammad Lawal Shehu, who was recently sworn in as the Chairman of Soba LGA, has immediately embarked on life-changing reforms for the people of the LGA. The payment of the grant is the first of many positive dividends to come.
