The abducted Superintendent of Correctional Service (SCS) at the Medium Security Custodial Center Gusau (MSCC), SC Hajara Ibrahim, has regained freedom weeks after being kidnapped.
She was abducted by bandits last month from her residence in the state.
A source from the command confirmed to Ruralpostng that the officer was released on Wednesday night. It was not clear if ransom was paid or not.
“Information reaching us from a reliable source revealed that SC Hajara Ibrahim of MSCC Gusau regained freedom from her abductors at late hours this evening,” the source said, offering no further comments.
But when contacted the Correctional Spokesman of the Command,
