Teenager Arrested After Live-Streaming Mosque Attack in Turkey

Turkish police have apprehended an 18-year-old suspect following a violent incident at a mosque in Eskisehir on Monday, where at least five people were stabbed.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced an ongoing investigation but has yet to reveal the motive behind the attack.

Speculation suggests it might be linked to a video game, as the assailant, identified as Arda K, streamed the attack live on X.

Wearing a helmet and bulletproof vest, the attacker targeted the mosque’s tea garden and was captured after a police chase, according to the Eskisehir governor’s office.

Five people have been hospitalized, with two in serious condition, though some reports indicate up to seven injuries.
