Early on Monday morning, a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter crashed at Tami village in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Fortunately, the pilot survived the incident, which happened around 5:00 AM on Monday

Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that despite the loud sound heard as they prepared for subhi prayer, the pilot emerged from the wreckage unhurt.

“We rushed to the scene and were relieved to see the pilot alive,” said a community leader who spoke on condition of anonymity. “The helicopter, belonging to the Air Force, crashed in an area called Rungi, under Tami village.”

Residents gathered promptly at the crash site, offering assistance and expressing gratitude that there were no fatalities. A team from the Nigerian Air Force later arrived to secure the area, while villagers observed from a distance.

As of the time of this report, the Nigerian Air Force has not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
