Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Host Communities and Member Representing Kaduna South Federal Constituency, provided free healthcare services to over 4,000 beneficiaries from Kaduna South, North, Igabi, Chikun, Zaria, Makarfi, and Kano.
The humanitarian services, held at The Yusuf Dantsoho Memorial Hospital (Asibitin Dutse) in Tudun Wada, Kaduna, were organized in collaboration with the Visions Savers Center and lasted for two days.
In his flag-off speech, Hon. Abdulkarim Hussaini (Mai Kero) emphasized that the medical outreach is an effort to fulfill his election campaign promises of providing quality leadership and representation in line with the ideals of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
This includes people-centered legislative bills and provisions of basic social amenities such as healthcare services, educational scholarships, palliatives, and manpower development to the constituents of Kaduna South Federal Constituency.
Hon. Abdulkarim Kero enlisted the services of professional oncologists who conducted intensive pathological evaluations and surgical procedures for free for the vulnerable.

Dr. Kamal Umar, Head of the Medical Team and Chairman of Visions Saver Center, disclosed that the initial proposal was for 2,000 beneficiaries, but due to the level of poverty and hardship faced by the masses, the Hon. Member,graciously approved an upward review to 5,000 beneficiaries.
The medical outreach, fully sponsored by Hon. Mal. Abdulkarim Hussaini Ahmad (Mai Kero), saw over 400 cataract patients operated on during the two days, with over 3,000 receiving medications, and more than a thousand short or long-sighted patients given glasses.
Commending on the gesture, Hon. Hassan hyat, the State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), stated that Kaduna South Federal Constituents have not seen anything yet, considering this as just a tip of the iceberg.
The beneficiaries appreciated and prayed for Honorable Hussaini Kero in their words, expressing confidence in his continued positive impact on their lives.
