The Nigeria Police Force has acknowledged the apprehension of Special Constabularies featured in a viral video demanding money from a Dutch woman rider along Iseyin/Ogbomosho Road in Oyo, Oyo State.
Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the arrest in a statement on Friday, highlighting the officers’ unprofessional and unacceptable behavior.
The Force plans to intensify efforts in implementing the reorientation program initiated by Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun aimed at addressing such issues and revitalizing the Nigeria Police Force.
