The member representing Yabo-Shagari federal constituency, Umar Yusuf Yabo, has donated 200 motorcycles to security agencies and other members of the constituency.
He also supported 2000 women with N100 million in a colorful ceremony that took place in Yabo town on Monday.
Yabo further distributed 50 water pumps and 2.5KVA power generators to farmers and mosques.
He distributed 500 uniforms and 5000 exercise books to primary school pupils in the area.
Speaking at the event on Monday, the lawmaker noted that the gesture was part of his campaign promises to his constituents.
“During my campaigns, I promised our people a positive change because Yabo-Shagari had been underrepresented at the green chamber for so many years.
“So what we are witnessing today is just the beginning of so many good things that are on your way,” he said.
The State chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bello Goronyo, however, commended the lawmaker for achieving this feat within five months.
Some of the beneficiaries thanked the lawmaker for the gesture.
The highlight of the event was the handing over of employment offers to four members of the constituency.
