Kaduna tragically took the life of a villager, Abdullahi Haruna, who had bravely offered to deliver a ransom to secure the release of a fellow villager held by the bandits.
An anonymous vigilante member corroborated the event, explaining, “The bandits had demanded a ransom for one of their captives, and Abdullahi Haruna willingly undertook the task of delivering the money. Regrettably, after receiving the ransom, the bandits callously counted it and then took the life of the person who had come with it at Sabo Kidandan, Giwa LG.”
This heart-wrenching incident unfolded on a Wednesday around 2:00 pm in the vicinity known as Sabo layi Kidandan, leaving the Kidandan village community in deep shock.
Despite efforts to reach out to the State Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, for comment, his phone line remained unreachable.
