The bandits also abducted six other residents during the attack.
The incidents happened around 10-11 PM when the bandits stormed the Unguwar Dankali, under Danmagaji area of the city to abduct innocent residents.
Those killed were at a joint discussing when the bandits opened fire on them.
A resident who spoke to Ruralpost said the bandits also abducted six other residents among them housewives.
“I can confirm five dead, while the six that sustained gunshot injuries are in critical condition, and the women kidnapped were also whisked away,” he said.
He described the situation as very terrible, saying the security agencies arrived after the attackers left the scene.
No official statements yet from the government and Police Command as of the time of filing the report.
