The Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Agency has advised intending pilgrims for the 2024 Hajj to follow a specific payment schedule.

The Executive Secretary of the Agency, Dr. Yusuf Yakubu Arrigassiyu, provided this guidance on Wednesday. He recommended an initial deposit of N2.5 million, followed by an additional N4.5 million to be paid by 31 December.

This information was conveyed in a statement issued by Yunusa Muhammed Abdullahi, the Public Relations Officer of the agency.

Dr. Arrigassiyu emphasized that these deposits should be made while awaiting the announcement of Hajj fares by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

Furthermore, Dr. Arrigassiyu advised intending pilgrims to personally visit the various registration centers across the state, as proxy registration will not be permitted.

Additionally, he called on registration officers to prioritize first-time intending pilgrims during the registration process.
