Anguwar Makeri, located within the Anguwaku community in Kufana Chiefdom of Kajuru Local Government Area, Kaduna State, was plunged into chaos following a violent bandit attack that tragically claimed the life of a local resident.
The assailants, who launched an assault on this remote village, also abducted approximately 19 villagers, primarily women.
Ruralpost gathered that as of now, the families of the victims have received no communication from the abductors.
Tanimu Makaddas, the community’s secretary, confirmed the incident, disclosing that the attackers arrived around 12:00 am last Saturday.
He identified the deceased as Kukah Yari, with Abuki Dogo sustaining injuries in the attack.
As of the time of this report, neither the State Police Command nor the state government has issued an official statement regarding the incident.”
