A prominent APC member in Kaduna,Hajiya Bilkisu Gidado has urged fellow party members not to blame Governor Senator Uba Sani for Nasir El-Rufai’s ministerial replacement.
She clarified that Governor Uba Sani never expressed preferences for candidates and highlighted the strong friendship between him and the former governor.
Gidado emphasized the credentials of potential nominees, Hamisu Abubakar Mai Rago and Jafaru Sani, and stressed unity among politicians.
” Senator Uba has never discussed his preferred candidates with anybody. Therefore, people should stop blaming him for what he never told them about,” she said.
She explained that Governor Senator Uba Sani himself has denied media reports in a statement that he was against El-rufai’s replacement nominee.
She called for support for whoever is chosen to promote party unity and benefit the state irrespective of the zone he represents, saying God’s gives power to who He wishes at anytime .
Gidado also encouraged citizens to pray for and support Governor Uba Sani’s policies, adding that he will never discriminate against them because he is a governor for all.
She further highlighted the importance of harmony within the party and collective decision-making during this time of ministerial replacement discussions.
