The eight victims that died as a result of Old Zazzau Emirate Central mosque collapsed were buried in Zaria city.
The funeral prayer took place at the Emir’s palace premises around 8:30 pm Friday night with thousands of other residents in attendance.
Ruralpost reported earlier how other unspecified number of worshipers suffered injuries when a section of the mosque collapsed around 4:pm.
The emirate sympathized with the families of the affected persons.
