Four female students from the Zamfara College of Art & Science are pleading for assistance from State Governor Dauda Lawal Dare after enduring six long months in the clutches of bandits.
These students were kidnapped from their school and have remained captive in the forest ever since.
According to reports, this is the second time that the bandits have released a video showcasing the plight of the abducted students.
In the video, one of the students, Umulkhairu Musa, along with her companions, can be seen desperately appealing to the new Zamfara Governor, Dauda Lawal Dare for help.
The students disclosed that the bandits have threatened to force them into marriages within the forest if the ransom demanded is not paid.
